|   Once exiting the saferoom inside Mercy Hospital, the survivors must either turn left, leading to stray Infected in exam rooms, or turn right, which takes them down a corridor to a staircase to the right, after crossing a small hallway with more exam rooms. Once the Survivors go up the staircase, they enter another hallway with a few offices, and a doorway leading to what was the 2nd floor lobby of the hospital. At the far right corner of the lobby contains a few closets and a set of stairs up to a hallway of more exam rooms and a miniature 3rd floor lobby. Further down the 3rd floor hallway, leads to some crowded desks blocking off the way, and yet another set of stairs. The survivors can either go through the doorway leading to a hallway of exam rooms, or go through a hole in the wall, leading to the abandoned elevator shaft. Both paths lead to the 4th floor lobby, and shortly past that holds some smaller, less technological exam rooms to hold the sick and a few surgical rooms. Once entering the hallways, the Survivors must turn right down a corpse-scattered hallway leading to an elevator on their left, which they must press the button to call for it to retrieve them. Once the elevator has been called, it alerts a horde of Infected to the Survivors, which they must fight off while waiting for the elevator to arrive. Shortly after, the elevator comes to their floor, and once all of the Survivors are inside, they send themselves up to the highest floor they can get to. Once the elevator doors open, the Survivors must turn left to get to a path around the un-guarded edge of the building, then they must take a right and follow down, weaving their way passed sandbags and forklifts. Then, from there, they must turn right, which leads to a few short hallways that contain the saferoom at the end of the maze.
